It was a sad thing that we weren't able to cover the Celebrity Mii contest that was held at kottke, but to make up for lost time and opportunities, we'll share to you those who won the contest. From the name itself, you could already get that you'd have to make a Mii avatar of a particular celebrity and basically the best rendition wins. The prizes will be a physical statuette of the winner's celebrity Mii and a Wii game of the winner's choice. The prizes ain't that fancy, but then again, who could pass up a novelty Wii item.

Anyhow, among the 220 entries, the winner of the contest is a guy named Dave Curry and his winning entry is a Zach Braff Mii. Yup, from what I can see he got the nose and the lips. Other notable entries was the Jack Black Mii, the Condi Rice Mii, and the Woody Allen Mii. Here are them celeb Miis.

Makes me wonder why nobody entered the Stephen Colbert and Nancy Pelosi Miis. To see more of the entries, click on the read link below.

Jack BlackOver at UnderGround Online, we caught Jack Black taking a breather from endorsing his film, Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny, and instead trying his hand out with Nintendo's Wii.

Jack Black is most remembered for his funny antics in movies like High Fidelity, School of Rock, and Nacho Libre. Ever the comedian, he sure was funny as he gave Wii Sports a shot, dabbling in boxing, tennis, and baseball. And what did he have to say about the Wii? He says, "It's like the next level for Nintendo... It's tiny, but it has all the power within it."

Anyway, you can check out his antics with the Wii over the read link below, it should lead you directly to it. Enjoy!
