The Dolphin Team has released a new update for the Unofficial SVN build of Dolphin, the Gamecube and Nintendo Wii emulator for Windows. The latest SVN build is a feature pack release and is said to be the best and most stable bin release from the team by far.

Another unofficial SVN build just came up for Dolphin. This one's a minor update since the guys at the Dolphin-emu forums are just trying to keep true to the bi-weekly update thing they have over there. Even so, there's a few things in the changelog that you might find worth your time.

Wiibrew developer Wiigator is back with an update to the Wii GameCube Backup Launcher. The modchip-free backup launcher now has new bug fixes and features, including the ability to switch the game ISO for a multigame disc. Details after the link.

FTPii is an FTP server for the Wii. To use, Copy ftpii/ to /apps/ on an SD-card and use The Homebrew Channel, or load boot.dol using your favorite mechanism (wiiload, Twilight Hack, ISO etc.). Once loaded, FTPii will display the IP address of your Wii and the port that it's listening on. It comes with DVD features too, but you'll need a working installation of DVDX for that. Genesis Plus is Eke-Eke's emulator project of the Sega Genesis/ Sega Megadrive for the Nintendo Wii. This, in particular, is a port of Charles MacDonald's Genesis Plus to the Wii hosting a lot of improvements.Changelog for this version includes improved sound engine.

Team Twiizers has released the latest version of The Homebrew Channel for all Wiibrewers out there. This time they opted to call it v1.0 instead of Beta 10. They jam packed a lot of new features in there, since they probably won't be releasing another version for a while. Check out what's new after the link.

While Wiibrew devs are busy updating their programs to be compatible with Homebrew Channel Beta 9, Marcan and the rest of Team Twiizers are already working on Beta 10. The Team wants you to know that Beta 10 will be the last update in for a long while, so if you have any suggestions for the update - a fix, a small feature - better voice it out over at hackmii. Wiibrew developer WiiGator has released a new version of Backup Launcher, a combination of GeckoOS and a backup ISO Launcher. This is a major update too. The program now has faster load time, and now supports non-patched as well as patched (or decrypted) games. More details after the link.

Here's an update on farter's media player for the Wii, GeeXboX. You guys will probably want to update to this one as it now supports optional mounting of NRG and ISO image files. More details after the link.

Wiibrew developer Hermes has released an update to WiiEngine, an emulator of the classic PC Engine and Turbo Grafx 16 systems for the Wii. Major updates in this version as it now supports several new compression formats, as well as ISOs. There are new features you won't want to miss as well. Details after the link.
