EA Confirms Godfather II in development - Image 1

The Don is looking to make a second coming as Electronic Arts has confirmed during a recent shareholders meeting that it is currently developing Godfather II. While this was already expected, it was never really confirmed by EA until recently.

"Adult-centric" games on consoles have been a point of debate across the industry recently so it was only natural that a question was posed in the said meeting regarding how the company plans to handle the more mature, edgier titles.

EA Games Label President Frank Gibeau was called upon to answer the aforementioned question and gave this rather interesting comment:

The appeal of those types of games is growing as the demographics start to open up for that older demographic. We make products like Godfather 2, Army Of Two, Crysis - a lot of products that appeal to that older customer.

So far, no specific information on launch dates or platform releases for Godfather II have been given. But rest assured that when the news breaks, we'll be giving you more updates. So the Don is back and he's making an offer we all can't refuse.
