This is the week, guys! No more filler games! Well, alright, so we still have a couple of titles from the Imagine and Petz series, but never mind that. Big titles are coming out this week, and the publishers did not fail to beef up the lineup just before the Black Friday sales. It's a deluge of games, alright. Can your wallet handle it?

Phoenix Wright, the "Objection!" shouting ace attorney and all around good guy, looks to be making the jump to Nintendo's money-making waggle-controlled console. Or so the German USK says.

We have a rather sizeable haul of new games this week. The cream of the crop includes such titles as Tekken 6, DJ Hero, Forza Motorsport 3, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, and that undying (not undead -- no, that would actually be cool) Petz series. Dig in and see which games fit your tastes and budget.

Final Fantasy fans will have one more reason to look forward to the holidays, if they have a Wii, that is. Square Enix has made the announcement: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers will be on shelves in the United States on December 26th, 2009. Details after the jump.

Contra Rebirth will not be the only title getting a fresh new gaming stint via WiiWare. According to this ESRB listing spotted by GamerBytes, the GameBoy installment of the Castlevania franchise will also be Rebirth-ed as Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth.

We've got an even spread of game releases for this week's batch of On Shelves games, including a couple of downloadable ones. Big for handhelds this week would be Capcom's and Namco Bandai's brawler offerings on the PSP, Fate/Unlimited Codes (available via PSN) and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, respectively. With summer about to end, it's nice to know that we're getting more company for the Fall as big game titles start to emerge. Topping the list this week are two big titles, each for consoles and for the PSP handheld. Batman: Arkham Asylum is set to grace North American PS3s and Xbox 360s, while Dissidia: Final Fantasy is weaving its magic on the PSP -- both on the same day, Tuesday. Amidst the usual barrage of less-than-note-worthy DS titles, this week's big release is the sequel to the 2001 FPS Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Hitler's got the usual evil army, and it's gonna be up to you to infiltrate and beat them from the inside. Finally, a game that everyone is definitely waiting for: Madden NFL 10. We' have some lackluster stand alone games the few weeks past, but not anymore. Starting this week, you're finally gonna get all the field action you've been longing for.
