MTV Games has announced that songs from the first Rock Band game will not be available as downloadable content for Rock Band 2. Apparently, the reasons are capitalistic as they plan to publish the first game "indefinitely." Better call up your friends and see if you can borrow a copy to export the songs. |

Those of you who've seen the previous promotional artwork for Mega Man 9
might be surprised to find out Capcom has gotten more than a little bit
serious about it. Despite being delivered as downloadable content for
various consoles, the publishers have come up with a promo "box art"
for the game using a retro-styled NES box and casing. View the box art and its description in our full article. |

Yes, we know Konami Gamer's Night 08 is long and done with, but only lately have video coverage spewed out for the recently concluded event. And one of the goodies we've managed to snag from Konami's gaming bash is a video interview with Associate Producer Keith Matejk, who was happy to provide input on what Rock Revolution (DS, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360) had to offer for us. The video follows at the full story. |

We've been clamoring for downloadable content for the Wii for some time now, but it's currently available to Wii Ware games only, like Final Fantasy Chronicles: My Life as a King. But there's light at the end of the tunnel, it seems, in the form of Samba de Amigo's boxart in GameStop sporting Nintendo's Pay-to-Play logo. Check out the box art in the full article. |
