Classic controller - Image 1Heads up, Nintendo fans from Europe: Nintendo of Europe (NOE) just sent out emails regarding the changes on privacy protection guidelines for your Club Nintendo accounts. You are required to accept the new guidelines stated on the email on or before July 15; non-compliance will result in getting your Club Nintendo accounts canceled.

If for some reason you do not agree with the new policies, you can still spend the Stars you have gained from Virtual Console purchases until account deletion on July 25. The reason behind this is that they need your explicit approval in using your personal data in order for them to carry out transactions with you.

If you don't check your email often, now would be a good time to do so.

It seems that Mexico is really coming on its own as an established and profitable videogame market, or at least it is for Nintendo. Today, we came across a website called Club Nintendo MX with details about the Wii on Wheels Tour in Mexico.

So watch out for that roving truck with Wii gaming stations available for fans to try. Good publicity move (after all, a similar act was performed by Sony with the PS3).

The first stop was at Wal-Mart Lomas Verdes in Mexico, DF, from February 9 to 11. Here are the other stops for our Mexico-based readers:
  • Wii on Wheels - Image 1 February 16 to 18: Mexico, DF
  • February 23 to 25: Monterrey, NL
  • March 2 to 4: Monterrey, NL
  • March 9 to 11: Guadalajara, JAL
  • March 16 to 18: Guadalajara, JAL
  • March 23 to 25: Queretaro, QRO
  • March 30 to April 1: Puebla, PUE
  • April 13 to 15: Mexico, DF
  • April 20 to 22: Mexico, DF
  • April 28 to 30: Mexico, DF

Optimistic... - Image 1Takaya Imamura, producer of Star Fox Command for the DS, has hinted that the Wii might be the next destination for the classic series. GamesRadar reports that in an interview with Nintendo of Europe, when asked if a Wii version of Star Fox was in the works Imamura responded:

I wonder how the adventure of Fox and friends is going to go next time?! I have come up with some idea in my mind but it is still just a small one. I will try my best so that I can deliver it to you some time!

So there you have it folks. Straight from the producer's mouth: reason for us to hold our breath and wait for Fox McCloud to head for our Wii's.

Given this bright possibility, some of us here at QJ are now wondering if working the piloting mechanism will involve the Wiimote's tilt-sensing. Of course, we do have to note that our speculation is just probably due to our inner ninty-fan-boy coercing us to get ahead of ourselves. But still, we're very much optimistic.

Oh, before we forget, if you happen to be a Club Nintendo member, and you wish to read the whole interview, you can get access it by clicking on our VIA link below.
