The folks at Wiinis.com apparently really like their Wii. So much so that they're starting to think that they've overworked their little white console a bit too much. A few graphical glitches started showing up in multiple games they were playing. At first they thought it was their 50 inch plasma that was having a problem, but when they switched to their 32" CRT, they pretty much got the same glitches.

Check out the images they took. Two shots of the plasma TV problems on the left, and a single shot of the 32"CRT problems on the far right.

Anyway from their report over at their site, wii (sorry) we now know that Nintendo tech-support is "refreshingly nice" and effective. Nintendo called Wiinis back after they called in for help, and they report that according to Nintendo, the glitches are probably due to the Wii's video card overheating and getting damaged. Good thing the Nintendo warranty is 90 days, so they can still get their damaged unit swapped for a new one.

We wonder how the glitches would look on a really, really big screen.
