The Bigs 2 - Image 1 Taking the spotlight in this week's edition of our On Shelves post, the 2K Sports baseball franchise returns in The Bigs 2, which is now out in stores and waiting to be bought by baseball and sports game fans. On Shelves This Week - Image 1Minus the digital downloads, this has to be one of the smallest batches we've seen on On Shelves. Talk about a dry batch - no AAA titles in this lineup. Anyway, there's still ArmA II for the PC if you're a die-hard FPS fan, or if you're a baseball fan, 2K Sports' The Bigs is also coming out this week. What we have now is the first screenshot of NBA 2K10 from 2K Sports, and yes, that's in singular. But what the release lacks in quantity, it definitely makes up for with substance. Presenting the first NBA 2K10 screenshot - Shaquille O'Neal is now a Cavalier. Talk about updated.

EA - Image 1Electronic Arts has complied with the Federal Trade Commission's requirements and has submitted necessary information to allow the government probe against possible antitrust law violations. The company has also promised to take no actions in its takeover quest of rival Take-Two until late August, ensuring that the competition is safe for now. Full details after the jump.

Top Spin 3 now gold, says 2K Sports - Image 12K Sports, the folks who are gearing up a new hockey game for the Wii, has also timely announced the master copy release of Top Spin 3 to mass production. The tennis simulator has gone gold for the DS, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360, and soon enough, tennis fans would be able to create their own avatar and grand slam against the likes of Sharapova and Federer.
