wplaat for you today. A new
version of Pong2 has been released. The highly addictive game features
new graphical effects, five game levels, a multiplayer mode, game
score, Wiimotw and classic controler support , backgrounds tracks and
several sound effects. The latest update is a maintenance release to
improve the homebrews stability and performance.

wplaat has recently released a new version of
SpaceBubble, a homebrew board puzzle game based on the classic bubble
breaker for the
Nintendo Wii. Some of the features of the latest
release includes -- added today top highscore screen, added
functionality to trace game events, and uses the final build of
devkitPPC release 19 and associated libraries.

Lottay recently surveyed up to see what folks want for
Christmas and they got quite a few interesting results - topping their respondents' wishlists are: love, travel, cash gifts, and the
Nintendo Wii. It seems that Wii love hasn't waned just yet, with twice as many people want a Wii over a PS3 and an Xbox 360 combined.

Australians are tired of getting the short end of the gaming stick. The
lack of an R18+ rating on the
OFLC means
that games with mature or adult content can easily be refused
classification and subsequently banned. They're not taking that lying
down. In fact, gamers Down Under are planning to march and hold a rally
demanding the implementation of an R18+ rating.

Satoru Iwata said earlier this month that they're planning to add game
demos into WiiWare, and just about two weeks later, the first ones are
now available. They sure went about that pretty fast. When more demos come in, you can avoid
risking your gaming money on shovelware and iffy titles.
