Let me start by clarifying that this is in no way a Nintendo marketing attempt for the New Super Mario Bros. Wii
coming out on November 15th (WTF if this is). This happened for real. Two guys
dressed up as Mario and Luigi (presumably for Halloween), plus one
other suspect, are now wanted by the police for assault and robbery on a
poor cabbie. |

We've seen a lot of vids out of Gametrailers, but this, hands down, has to take top honors. Capcom has definitely outdone themselves with this one, showing Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles like you've never seen before. |

Remember those Polk County cops that busted a drug dealer then played
with his Wii after? Internal investigation found that out of the 16
officers present in the raid, 11 were at fault, and so they puckered up
to
face the wrath of the Sheriff's Office - a wrath that left marks on
their personnel files and sent them straight into retraining. |

With their new James Bond game coming out next year plus plans to make a series out of the Bond franchise, Activision decided not to get Daniel Craig as the face of their James Bond. Daniel Craig's a big star - it'll be hard to fit sessions of dialog recording into his busy schedule, he'll have Bond movies to shoot - all that and he's expensive, too. So instead, we'll be getting Adam Croasdell. |

If you know anyone who's thinking that the Wii Fit is the fun-and-easy ticket to a better shape, tell them that they're gonna have to get used to that fat gut sticking out. The American Council on Exercise has released their findings on the effectiveness of the so-called fitness game, and what they found is that, "The Wii Fit is a very, very mild workout." |

The musical virtuosos at OverClocked ReMix are up to some monkey
business. Serious Monkey Business, in fact. That's the name of their
latest project still in the works, which is the re-imagination of the
music of Donkey Kong Country 2. |

Everyone loves Chocobos. Really. Some may like Moogles more for the fluffy pompom on their head, but they still love Chocobos. Thankfully, Square Enix hasn't forgotten the sprinting bird and how fun it is to race them. Good news, Chocobo racing lives on in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. Now we've got more reasons to keep an eye out for the Wiixclusive title. Video after the jump. |

20 years after Nintendo launched the Game Boy, the immensely popular
portable gaming device has now been inducted into the National Toy Hall
of Fame, joining the ranks of an elite list of legendary playthings. An
honor well-deserved. Seeking to continue their hardware success,
Nintendo has had another busy week, topped off with updates from three
of their biggest execs. |

Before the days of the PSP and the DS, only one name came to mind when it came to portable gaming - the Nintendo Game Boy. Since its launch in 1989, the Game Boy made its mark in the gaming industry, pioneering a new level in portable gameplay. For its contributions and millions of satisfied users, the Museum of Play has now honored the handheld by including it in its National Toy Hall of Fame. |
