The Atlus box art for Trauma Center New Blood - Image 1Since we at QJ had enjoyed playing Atlus' Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Trauma Center: Second Opinion, the recent release of Atlus' Trauma Center: New Blood for the Nintendo Wii got our blood pumping once again.  In hindsight, though, we couldn't help but wish that certain things (and people) had been included in Atlus' new medical sim, so we've compiled a short list of them.

What we think should have been in Trauma Center: New Blood after the jump!

Trauma Center: New Blood - Image 1The Trauma Center series has always made subtle references to today's more popular medical dramas, and the sequel's newly-unveiled opening sequence is no exception. It's just as subtle, as you won't be able to match it to what it's making a reference to unless you're an avid watcher of the base material, but suffice to say it's a good sign for those of us expecting some tense, if not awesome surgical action from Trauma Center: New Blood.

Trauma Center: New Blood - Image 1Heads up, a new trailer for Trauma Center: New Blood has just been released featuring a very blood pumping round of 2-player co-op play (yes, the pun is necessary). Two players will be taking on the roles of Doctors Markus Vaughn and Valerie Blaylock.

Here you'll have to cooperate to save the life of a patient with a smashed rib cage. The damage is so extensive that the shattered pieces of bone penetrated one of his internal organs. Check out the video in the full article.

Out of the way! An ambulance is rushing in with a new trailer for the Nintendo Wii's Trauma Center: New Blood. This sequel from Atlus has a lot of new features to offer fans. New locations (the game's set in Alaska, FYI), new surgical cases, new medical drama and conspiracies, and more importantly, new characters.

This trailer features a couple of the new characters you're going to meet/assume in Trauma Center: New Blood. You're introduced to the two protagonists: Markus Vaugh and Valeria Baylock. You'll also meet two nurses, Elena Salazar and Marcy Bloom, while the other two higher-ups, Lloyd Williams and Miles Hoover, make an appearance at the end of the trailer.

Make sure you note the voice overs in this trailer. We must say... Atlus seems to have done a very good job in choosing the voice cast. Though Trauma Center: Second Opinion had some minor voice overs, it's only now in New Blood will we have FULL voice-over dialogues.

Nintendo Wii's Trauma Center: New Blood - Image 1

It's Trauma Center Tuesday, and you better be ready to get your hands on some fresh meat (sorry for the Hannibal Lecter-ish pun there). Atlus' official website for their upcoming Trauma Center: New Blood has updated itself with a handful of new videos.

Firstly, there's the official trailer for the game. It summarizes all the new features of the game neatly, all of which are shown accompanying gameplay footage for. It gives you a good idea of what to expect from the game. Aside from the trailer, a whole slew of how-to videos have likewise been uploaded. The tutorial videos will teach you how to use certain tools during the various operations in the game. For now, the videos encompass the surgical laser, antibiotic gel, drain, forceps, scanner, scalpel, sutures, and syringe.

Click the Read link below to head to the official Trauma Center: New Blood website. Once there, the "Media" button at the bottom navigation bar will lead you to the videos.

Trauma Center: New Blood website - Image 1

Trauma Center fans looking to get filled in on the Atlus video game that lets you play doctor on the Nintendo Wii, heads up - Atlus has opened up shop on the Interwebs with the official website of the sequel, Trauma Center: New Blood. Old hands and newbies should do well to get up to speed on what's new with this title, particularly the fact that two players can work on a surgical operation at the same time.

In keeping with the theme of life hanging in the balance on the operating table, the Trauma Center: New Blood website has a sanitized look to it, sporting what appears to be some of New Blood's hospital backdrops as wallpapers for each of its sections. Speaking of which, there's a wealth of game and character info to be read in those sections, written in short, succinct paragraphs that should get even the most inexperienced of armchair surgeons familiar with their tools. Definitely worth a look.

Of course, with Atlus' Trauma Center: New Blood site having newly opened, there's still a lot yet to be revealed - but fret not, as the site will be updating every week on Tuesday, so it's not that far off a wait till we get to behold all the goodies that this sequel has to offer. Until then, we'll leave you to browse the website on your own, which you can easily do by clicking on the read link below.
