When you're getting into the sort of adventures explorer Lara Croft experiences in Tomb Raider: Anniversary (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation Portable, PC, Wii), you know you're going to need a healthy mix of beauty, brawns, and skills. We've just picked up a new trailer video for the game's Wii edition, featuring another move exclusive to the motion-sensitive Wiimote: the Adrenaline Mode.

The move's activated when players shake the wiimote, just as your enemy pulls off a special attack. You'll know you've done it right when time slows for Lara, bullet-time-style, and a special cross-hair appears on your enemy's weak point.

If you can get a hit on the mark, you'll be able to kill off the minions, or unload extra heaps of hurt on the bosses. Tomb Raider: Anniversary from Eidos Interactive for the Wii will be making its Europe debut by this Christmas, while North America's adventure begins at an earlier November 13.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary for the Wii - Image 1The Wii version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary remains without a definite European release date, but Eidos has assured fans of the series that it will be in store shelves by Christmas. This according to video game news website Eurogamer.

Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider: Anniversary for the Nintendo Wii home video game console was announced earlier this year. New features will of course put the spotlight on the console's motion-sensing controller. Eidos has also confirmed that the game will be in North American retail stores on November 13.

Two versions of Tomb Raider: Anniversary - PlayStation 2 and PC - are already out in Europe. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation Portable versions of the game are due for release tomorrow.

The dungeon crawling video game babe we all know is getting the respect she deserves, as Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider: Anniversary on the Nintendo Wii is pulling out all the stops to breathe new life into the game through motion sensing controls. What you'll see in the gameplay footage below is Lara showing off her brush and pick skills.

Just from the looks of it, going physical by waggling the Wii Remote as you pull crates and levers can be fun. Lara's reiteration on Ninty's console also looks pretty smooth, leading us to believe fans who already own Tomb Raider: Anniversary on other platforms (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation Portable, PC) would still want to give this version a spin.

See for yourself by watching Crystal Dynamics and Buzz Monkey Software's Tomb Raider: Anniversary video below.

Here are two new promotional videos for the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 versions of Tomb Raider Anniversary. The PlayStation Portable and PC versions, on the other hand, had already been launched by developer Crystal Dynamics and publisher Eidos Interactive last August and June respectively.

The video clip for the Wii version of the title features a real-life Lara Croft holding a Wiimote and Nunchuk interspersed with in-game footage. The one for Microsoft's Xbox 360 shows off more gameplay clips and some of the environments and enemies players will be meeting in the video game.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is a remake of the original Tomb Raider video game that was released in 1996. Crystal Dynamics used an enhanced version of the Legend game engine on this port.

One of video gaming's most beloved (and most well-endowed) legends is celebrating her anniversary with a remake of her first adventure, Tomb Raider Anniversary, on the Wii, PS2, PC and the PSP. And to look at the new features implemented in the Nintendo Wii version of Tomb Raider Anniversary is this latest trailer video from the guys over at Eidos Interactive. Let's take a gander and see what's up with the goddess of tank tops and khaki shorts.

In this video, we see Lara once more doing what she does best - raiding tombs, and how certain Wiimote and Nunchuck movements make that particular hobby of Lara's a little bit easier. Shaking the Nunchuck makes Lara shimmy herself from side to side faster, while a flicking motion unleashes the Croft lady's grappling hook (for all your grappling needs). Nifty.

Check the new-and-improved controls in action from the video embed below. Enjoy!

Gamers of old will always have a sweet spot for the buxom, twin-pistol toting, cave spelunking lass of the video gaming world. Ever since her conception in 1996, players have followed Lara Croft's adventures for more than a decade across several platforms already. Now with Eidos Interactive's release of Tomb Raider: Anniversary, we can all relive the British archaeologist's first adventure on the newer generation consoles and handhelds.

Here we have another exclusive video of the Nintendo Wii version of the game. As always, Lara looks fabulous with her upgraded digital self sporting over 7,000 additional polygons in all the right places (if you know what I mean). As you can see from the video, she has a whole bunch of new moves not present in the original game to help her navigate those treacherous ruins she loves exploring.

Hopefully, Eidos can finally give us a definitely date on when we can see Lara Croft trek her way onto the Wii soon. Until then just keep yourselves posted on QJ.net for any more updates we have on the game.
