Resident EvilLooks like we should enjoy the latest RE game (or previous others too) for all that it's worth - it's going to be a looong wait for the next one. Considering that Capcom producer Jun Takeuchi previously said that the next installment in the Resident Evil franchise would be a reboot, the next installment may be a ways off. RE5 producer Masachika Kawata honestly stated that the next installment for RE may be quite a ways off, any time within four to eight years!

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles - Image 1Leon and Claire team up once again in another retroactive adventure in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, the direct sequel to the Umbrella Chronicles. And while it wasn't the Code Veronica announcement I was expecting, Capcom has also announced remakes of the original RE game and RE Zero.

Resident Evil 0 Capcom Wii - Image 1Many Resident Evil fans have been asking the question whether or not the Wii release of Resident Evil 0 will see the light of day in the US, but as it turns out, it probably won't. Resident Evil Zero - Image 1It's been a while since we last heard from Capcom and the Nintendo Wii version of Resident Evil 0, but now we get wind of a new movie trailer that shows off just how faithful it's going to be to the original. From the seamless transition between combat and exploration to the awesome CGI cutscenes, this is definitely one game that we should keep our eyes on, especially since it's about shooting zombies.
