With Electronics Arts winding up for the release of its latest arcade style racing game with Need for Speed: ProStreet, the promoters from the gaming company delivers to us an exclusive TV spot advertisement for the game.

The commercial encompasses all the hyped up game features that the developers from EA Black Box has been talking about for the past few months. New features such as the advanced damage modeling, customizable body parts autosculpting are just some of the features that add to this intense racing game's strong following.

While the game doesn't exactly feature those two drivers you'll see in the video, the game might as well have been sliced from real life, seeing as how the visuals really bring life to the game. Need for Speed: ProStreet is due to be released this November 14 in North America on the PC, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and DS.

Anyway, enjoy the video we have on this great game and remember, leave the driving to the professionals.

As racing titles go, Electronic Arts' Need for Speed stays true to the spirit of high-speed racers on any video game platform. The latest game in the series, Need for Speed: ProStreet shows off the power of the Wii next-gen console as you can see from the two gameplay videos we have below.

Just by looking at the visuals, you can tell how much detail the developers from EA Black Box have put into creating that "photo-realistic" feel for each of the vehicles in the video game. Along with the intricate car customization feature that has become intrinsic to the series, the new Need for Speed: ProStreet is shaping up to be a great sequel to continue the franchise.

We're most excited about the fact that the developers mentioned including an advanced damage modeling system that wasn't featured in a lot of the past racing games. So expect to see a lot of careful (or not so careful) drivers this time around since trashing your car can also mean the end of the race.

The two videos highlight some of the game physics that the different game modes will include, such as how important your tire's grip can affect the outcome of the race or how the proper balance of revving up your engine can get you ahead of the racing pack.

In any case, Need for Speed: ProStreet is definitely a racing game we'll be keeping our eye out for when it hit stores this November 14. The game is also slated to be released on the PC, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PSP and DS.

Need For Speed ProStreet by Electronic Arts is easily among the most anticipated racing games currently in development for the Sony PlayStation 3, Windows PC, Nintendo Wii, and Microsoft Xbox 360. Genre fans have come to expect a lofty level of sizzle and steak from the Need For Speed franchise, and it looks like Need For Speed ProStreet won't disappoint. Have a look as the devs discuss the Speed Challenge aspect of the game:

As you've probably heard in this Need For Speed ProStreet video interview, Speed Challenge isn't about pushing the pedal to the floor and having your car's engine belt out noises like a banshee. It's also not about driving with more attitude than everyone else on the track. It's about maintaining your concentration in popular freeways for 20 miles at a time, all the while keeping up a steady dial on the speedometer.

One false move in Need For Speed ProStreet's Speed Challenge could mean the difference between a record speed and an outright disaster. The damage system in Need For Speed ProStreet is touted by EA as one of the most accurate in the business, so that should mean you'll be crawling at turtle pace after a bad crash. Keep it with QJ for more updates.

Ready for another round on the Drift track? We've got a new video for Electronic Arts' Need for Speed ProStreet (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii, DS, PS2, and PlayStation Portable) that features the art of the drift.

In the video, Justin Wiebe, associate producer for Need for Speed ProStreet, talked about how they (the devs) went to a Formula D event to study how the drift works. According to Wiebe, the experience helped them develop the physics engine and how to incorporate real life techniques into the game. That's good and all, but this writer can't stop staring at the cars.

Moving on... Check out the video for a quick peek at the drift race mode in Need for Speed ProStreet. We still have a while to wait for release so this might tide you over. Enjoy!

Electronic Arts' Need for Speed ProStreet releases the game's soundtrack listing - Image 1Well known as a high-speed arcade racer, the Need for Speed series is taking a different approach for its next generation series.

Electronic Arts' Need for Speed ProStreet (PC, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, DS) takes out most of the arcade street racing elements from its former iterations and features a more realistic take on the racing aspect of the game.

Aside from that, you can also expect the soundtrack to be just as adrenalin pumping and as fast paced as the game has always been. EA recently revealed the entire soundtrack for the game which features 35 songs from a varied range of artists.

It also premieres an original score made by renowned DJ and producer Junkie XL which captures the speed and style of the pro street racing culture. EA Worldwide Executive of Music and Music Marketing Steve Schnur relates how the soundtrack fits into the game's new look:

We've brought together an unprecedented collection of artists that represents an international convergence of emerging Rock, aggressive Electro, UK Grime and much more, including a truly dangerous original score by our Artwerk artist Junkie XL.

Here's the entire list of artists and their respective songs that will be featured in the game:
  • Airbourne - Blackjack
  • Avenged Sevenfold - Almost Easy
  • Bloc Party - Prayer (Does It Offend You, Yeah? Remix)
  • Chromeo - Fancy Footwork (Guns ‘N Bombs Remix)
  • Clutch - Power Player
  • CSS - Odio Odio Odio Sorry C
  • Datarock - I Used To Dance With My Daddy (Karma Harvest Mix)
  • Digitalism - Pogo
