Clawing his way into DLC form is Black Panther hoping to get some action in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. He's also known as T'Challa, chief of the Wakandan Panther clan, and husband to Halle Berry Storm. Once Activision sets the date, he'll also be known as a downloadable character.

If that's not enough, there's a video that comes with it too. That's right - the hardcore time-traveler has come from the future to join in the action in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.

More news popping out of the Comic-Con in San Diego. Activision has announced that Speedball's alter-emo ego, Penance, will be in your roster of heroes in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3, PSP, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, DS). More after the jump.

Activision has confirmed that retailer listings pegging a September release for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 are indeed right on the money. The game is currently being prepped for release on PS3, PSP, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii and DS. There's also a treat waiting for hardcore Marvel fans who get the game: a cameo from legendary comic book creator Stan Lee.

Everyone loves Ryan Reynolds Deadpool, don't they? The simple fact that he Shoryuken'd Kitty Pride in front of Logan (Snikt me! Snikt me!) wins instant cool points in my book. Here's a bit of treat for all you guys thinking in yellow boxes: a Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 trailer starring none other than the Merc with the Mouth himself. Yeah, fine, there are cameos of the other characters - Captain America, Iron Fist, Hulk - but whoooo caaaaares?! I'd have Deadpool Dragon Punch the lot of them if I had the choice!

Although info didn't come from the Activision presswire, IGN has confirmed that the wise-cracking merc will be part of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (DS, Wii, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360). I'm guessing that it would be Deadpool's strong performance and sheer coolness in the first Ultimate Alliance that brought him back. Let's just face it, he's way too cool.

He may not be as well known as, say, Spider-Man, but Iron Fist remains as one of the more iconic Marvel characters from the 70s. As such, he'll be among the many playable characters appearing in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (DS, Wii, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360).
