For once, Grand Theft Auto didn't make it into a list of things not to buy your kids - specifically, the TOADY (Toys Oppressive and Destructive to Young Children). So what did make the list? Lego Batman.

Holy launch trailers, Batman! Are you ready to prance around the streets of Gotham with your undies worn over your tights? Lego Batman: The Video Game gets released today in North America, simultaneously for its PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, DS, and PC versions. To celebrate the launch, Traveller's Tales has released a trailer compiling clips and cutscenes from the game.

Another one joins the rosters of playable characters in Lego Batman: The Videogame (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, DS, PC). She's young, she's caped, and she's Commissioner Gordon's daughter. It's batgirl, y'all. What are her abilites? More than you actually think.

When TT Games announced that it will develop another LEGO game, we were excited. Then they revealed it was going to be LEGO Batman: The Videogame - we went ecstatic. The Dark Knight is indeed coming in blocky form, and if you can't believe it, hit the jump for its debut trailer!
