A new version of Gecko OS has been released. Homebrew coder Nuke has once again updated his handy homebrew app that allows you to load games on your Wii  from other regions. The latest Gecko OS update now supports the System Menu 4.2, added support for the new Homebrew Channel ID, more fixes and various other improvements.

It's been awhile since we last heard from homebrew coders Scip, Rodries and the rest of the MPlayer CE team, but now they are back to release a new version of MPlayer CE, a feature-packed media player for the Nintendo Wii. The latest MPlayer release has added more features and tons of bug fixes.

Homebrew coder Toad King has released a new version of SDL MAME for the Nintendo Wii. If your not familiar with the homebrew, SDL MAME is an arcade games system emulator based on SDLMAME. The latest update now comes with the latest version of MAME, added Wiimote sensor support, fixed stereo support and some other bug fixes.

Homebrew coder NoNameNo has released a new version of GRRLIB, a C/C++ 2D graphics development library for the Nintendo Wii. The latest update is now compatible with the latest devkitPro release 18 and 19, includes ab updated libpng, now supports uncompressed MS-Windows Bitmap format, more bug fixes and various other improvements.

A new version of Custom IOS Installer is now available courtesy of homebrew coder waninkoko. For your info, Custom IOS38 is a modified firmware that allows you to install altered Wads or play backups without a chip or device via a USB or SD card.
