Endless Ocean packshot - Image 1This is probably the first time that we'd be hosting a tsunami of screenshots for the up and coming underwater adventure game from Nintendo, Endless Ocean. We've caught a glimpse of manta rays and dolphins, as well as the vast corals beneath the deep blue in our collection thus far, but this time, we will expand our blue horizons.

In this latest stash of assets for Endless Ocean (aka Forever Blue in Japan), we will be granted access to not only what the divers will see in the sea, but even on deck. Equipment such as radar, and of course, the tricked out vessel that we'll be cruising in is put in the spotlight.

Anyhow, there is still so much more to see, and we are definitely looking forward to more updates. In the meantime, why don't you all soak in this latest catch of screens for Endless Ocean by clicking on Full Article below?

Endless Ocean PAL date confirmed - Image 1Remember the info leak that was perpetuated previously, which hinted at the possible release date for Europe's copy of Endless Ocean for the Wii? We've picked up further confirmation today solidifying this fact, as Nintendo Co., Ltd sends out a press wire announcing the game's dive into PAL territories come this November 9.

Endless Ocean will have players taking the guise of a diver, as they relax amongst the various sights that the deep blue beholds. Players will be pacing through several missions involving the exploration of old shipwrecks and underwater ruins, and the discovery of new marine life. You'll even be able to listen to you own personal track of MP3 music, provided it's loaded in the Wii console's SD Card slot. Endless Ocean is expected to arrive in retails at a cost of £ 30 (US$ 60).

Endless Ocean screenshot - Image 1Looks like Australia will be taking the plunge too. We're picking up word that Arika's Endless Ocean (aka Forever Blue in Japan) for the Wii console has been rated "G" by Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC). This effectively confirms that it's heading for the the land Down Under.

Still unknown is when the game is expected to launch in the said region. As a recap, Endless Ocean is scheduled to launch in Europe on November 9, and in North America on October 29. We'll let you know if we can confirm when Australia can partake of the game's marine life and sea wrecks.

GC logo - Image 1More happy news is pouring out of the Leipzig Games Convention events, and this time it's aimed at European Wii owners: The release dates of Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, and the ocean adventure Forever Blue (Endless Ocean in the US) have been leaked by Jeux-France, and it's safe to say that all of them are slated to be released this coming November.

Super Mario Galaxy has a release date of November 16, while Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles will start to haunt players in November 30. European gamers can also start diving deep into Forever Blue on November 9 (hopefully the annoyingly cute glitch will be fixed in time for the Euro release).

The fact that they are going to be out earlier than next year is certainly good news, and let's hope that none of these titles will be delayed. More updates as they come!

Forever Blue - Image 1Nintendo's latest ocean adventure, Forever Blue (Endless Ocean in the US), wasn't without flaws. To be precise, it had a minor glitch that replaced relaxing orchestra music with a random J-pop song. We have nothing against these cute girls singing, but the deep sea isn't a concert hall for them. Fortunately, Ninty is offering free replacements for the faulty copies.

The game is only out in Japan, so importers are out of luck. Folks in the land of the rising sun who grabbed a copy can apply for a replacement online, or drop Nintendo's service center a call. Replacements won't be out 'til August 21, and we expect copies on shelves to be replaced as well.

We'll dispense with the Little Mermaid jokes and give you one tried and true fact of life, right here, right now: being in the water is peaceful as heck. When you're in the water, you can forget about all your troubles for a little while as you immerse yourself, literally and figuratively, in the world around you.

Right now, we know of one immersive game that's trying to do the same on the Nintendo Wii. It's Arika and Nintendo's Endless Ocean, and spending a little while watching this gameplay trailer is kind of relaxing: it makes us want to just lounge around and forget our writing deadlines.

Of course, we can't do that (we have you guys to think of), but we can give you guys the opportunity to feel at peace for a little while. Dim the lights, watch the video of Endless Ocean (Forever Blue in Japan)and listen to the beautiful background vocals, and enjoy a quick trip under the sea.
