Call of Duty: World at War - Image 1Despite criticisms that Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, DS) isn't as good as its predecessor Modern Warfare (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), Treyarch should still be happy with this outcome - the fifth installment to the Call of Duty franchise has sold over 11 million units since its launch back in November 2008.

Activision Barks Back at PETA on Call of Duty: World at War - Image 1 War is hell, for attack dogs and humans alike. Just because dogs happen to be cuddlier than humans doesn't mean that they were spared the horrors of war. Call of Duty can make you wanna kill this little guy? No way - Image 1It doesn't even have to be a real dog. Apparently, killing a dog in a video game is disgusting enough. This is according to the Animal Rights Club of the Academy of Notre Dame, who is protesting the canine killing spree in Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, DS), saying that killing animals should not be a form of entertainment. Wow, the game nitpicking doesn't stop.

Call of Duty: World at War still on top - Image 1Call of Duty: World at War is still top gun in the UK. So far, nothing's been able to knock it off the top of the software charts since it entered last month. Resistance 2, on the other hand, is only on its second week in the regions and has already fallen to 20th place.

Call of Duty: World at War - Image 1The numbers are in from the UK and it looks like gamers are still too busy with Call of Duty: World at War to bother with Resistance 2, which entered the charts at 10th place. That's way lower than expected for the highly anticipated (or not) game.
