Telltale Games' Mark Darin and Greg Land recently talked about the pros of porting games to the Wii and DS platform in an interview by Cubed3. With games like CSI: Hard Evidence (PC, Xbox 360, Wii, DS) and the Sam & Max series under their belt, they also talked about how the Wii and DS can rekindle interest in the old-school point-and-click adventure genre. You can read the interview with the Telltale Games designers in the full article. |

When we heard of CSI: Hard Evidence (Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PS2, DS) being under Ubisoft's banner, we knew the license was in good hands. Break down evidence, recreate crime scenes, squeeze answers out of suspects; doing whatever it takes to unmask the criminal just like in the popular TV series sounds fun. Take a glimpse at what awaits by watching the video we've found.
Gritty atmosphere? Check. Cinematic presentation? Positive. Mysterious villains and equally mysterious victims? They're all there. Pack that in a video game, slap good graphics, then you've got a crime going on. In this video, you'll see gameplay footage from what seems to be a murder attempt in the casino. It's hard to miss all the elements that we've mentioned. Be careful not to flinch, this one's dangerous: |

Ubisoft announces today that Xbox 360 and Wii
owners, as well as those with a Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2, will be
able to enjoy a new CSI video game this coming Fall 2007. The new game
will be known as CSI: Hard Evidence and is being developed by Telltale Games. The PC version ships with the console versions.
Staying true to the CSI franchise, Hard Evidence continues on the crime-solving brand of experience the public has first come to love on TV. The game itself follows the story of Gil Grissom, Catherine Willows, and the rest of the Las Vegas crew in solving crimes with the help of sophisticated lab equipments and realistic techniques. Other features are:

Originally slated only for the PCs, we've gathered news that CSI: Hard Evidence will also be coming to the Nintendo Wii. The video game will be published by Ubisoft; the developer of the game is still unknown though, but the PC version of CSI: Hard Evidence is being developed by Telltale Games. But what can we expect from the Wii version of the game? As you'd expect from any "CSI" television show, atmospheric crime scenes much like in the series will be presented to gamers, who will then have to solve each crime through forensic reconstruction and detective work. Hard Evidence will now include improved evidence gathering, an all-new garage lab used for analyzing evidence as large as boats and cars, and some lab minigames. With all these new features plus more areas to explore in the game, players will undoubtedly have longer play experiences. Gaming site AMN was able to find a possible release date of CSI: Hard Evidence for the Wii. The game could be released alongside the PC version, giving it a September release date. We'll keep you posted, CSI fanatics. |
