The last time we posted about Sega's Bleach for the Wii was December of last year. Since then the game has been out in Japan and though there have been no announcements whether the game will be released in North America or Europe, there's nothing wrong with hoping. The rest of the screens right after the jump! |

It's time for us to see more of the moves from Sega's Bleach for the Wii. We've consistently provided you with screenshots, which by themselves look amazing. Now it's time to see if those images provide sufficient testimony as to the real gameplay.
That's why we have here for you two gameplay videos for Bleach. The first one is entitled Sword dueling. True to its name, it simply shows you how the battles would work, as well as provide a preview of the kind of powers you can wield against your opponent. That, and the trademark battlecry of "Hiiiiyyyyaaaa!!!" among fighters when in the thick of the battle. The second vid, meanwhile, shows how the one-on-one battles can help you perfect your moves, hence becoming the ultimate sword-handler. Anyways, for those in Japan, we're sure you can find these useful in your exploration of the game. It has, after all, come out to retail since the 14th of December. As for those in the other areas, well, you can just view the gameplay videos so you won't be so out of the loop. The blade-wielding vid awaits after the jump. Enjoy! Sword dueling |

What's nice about Bleach? Hmmnnn... well, those "Shinigami Cup Golden" segments at the end of each episode are definitely "golden." What else? Oh, and Bleach has very entertaining games. Don't believe us? Check out the latest gameplay vid of Bleach for the Wii.
Now, this blogger definitely prefers if that fox just kept wearing that bucket on his head... oh well, can't get everything you want. At least you can "break" long attack-chains in this one, so that seems like a nice gameplay feature. Moreover, the vid seems to suggest that a "Bankai" can definitely turn a match around... nice feature. Now where are those Byakuya-Bankai vids? |

December 14 is looming closer, and we sure can't wait for Bleach Shiraha Kirameku Rondo's release. Yep, come its launch, we can finally take our dreams of being shinigamis a tad higher as we get to swing our zanpakutos with the Wiimote, and roleplay tons of the manga/anime characters to our hearts' content. For those who are not familiar with the the game, let me brief you a bit first. Bleach is a popular manga and anime series (both are still ongoing, by the way) made by Tite Kubo. It revolves mainly on the exploits of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school who has the ability to see ghosts, who eventually becomes a shinigami ("Soul Reaper"/ "Death god"). As the story unfolds, we discover more about the "Soul Society", where souls get transported to, post-mortem. Thus, we get to see more of the shinigami (and we mean tons here), where 25 of them are featured in the game. I think Bleach's appeal lies not only on the interesting story, but on the equally engaging characters as well. All of them of course have their own quirks, but watching their own powers unfold is enough to keep me glued to the tube for hours. Anyway, before I bore you to death, let me give you a nice serving of Sega's Bleach Shiraha Kirameku Rondo screens. There's about thirty screenshot and artwork images, so to save you the hassle, I'm just going to give you a preview here. But if you want to take a good look at the whole batch, by all means, go ahead and click "Full Article." Enjoy! |

Bleach is all set to wipe out those lazy weekends of yours once Sega releases it in Japan on December 14th. But in the meantime, while it's still way beyond your reach, you can still check out the action via these new screenshots. Now, it that ain't enough to fulfill your cravings for this game, then you would definitely want to catch its TV series on Cartoon Network, as it is currently airing over at Adult Swim. Now, as the name connotes, it easily ain't for kids. Duh, it's for adults! But hey, if you could just hang in there for a little bit more, maybe you won't even need to play hooky staying up way past your bedtime just to catch a glimpse of the show. |

In the Bleach universe, your zanpaku sword is almost an extension of your being. Connecting with it by knowing the sword's name and calling upon it increases your fighting ability in varying ways. Forging a deeper connection with the sword enhances your power and the sword's existing abilities greatly, making you a deadly killing machine.
In Sega's upcoming Wii game, Bleach Wii Shiraha Kirameku Rondo, that premise doesn't change. Instead of talking about the controls or seeing promotional videos of how kids will love waving the Wiimote around like a sword trying to kill his best buddy, we might as well skip to an actual fight, right? To that end, we shall not disappoint. The video you'll be watching below is two rounds worth of Ichigo vs Renji action. Not only will you get to see them in their usual shinigami form, you'll also get to watch their zanpaku swords' transformation sequence into their bankai forms: Tensa Zangetsu and Hihiou Zabimaru, respectively. Who will win the battle? Well, you'll just have to watch, won't you? Enjoy the video, and keep checking QJ for more Bleach goodness. |

You've been waiting for months in such agony that you want to grab your TV's remote and start practicing your Bankai moves. Big fans of Bleach will have a field day in the coming days as Sega announces a limited edition release for those who pre-order Bleach Wii Shiraha Kirameku Rondo. For those who reserve the game early, they'll get a pretty casing for their game as well as a premium DVD. The premium DVD is a goldmine for Bleach fans as it contains artworks, animation sequences, and over 80 minutes of demos of game. There are also interviews of voice actors and a sneak peek at the game's production. The premium DVD is free if you reserve the game in Sega Direct. For big fans, it’s quite a steal. As the cover shows Arturo, a Grimmjow-looking Arrancar, one could only speculate that Bleach’s Wii exploit will go as far as the Arrancar story line. The Arrancars are hollows who have taken their masks off and have gained the powers of a shinigami. They are ruthless enemies and could be an outright challenge. Will Bleach’s Wii take us deeper into the shinigami world? Well, until the game comes out, the least we could do is speculate with the screenshots. |

In just a matter of days, Sega has been able to update their Bleach website once again with much more content. Now, there's a whopping 14 characters with profiles you can view. Err. That's if you can read Japaneses. However, thou shalt not fret, dear kindred spirit. They have short videos also, featuring the character's battle moves and whatnot. If you still haven't seen some of them from last week, now's the chance to catch up. We've noticed that there's still more than a handful of "silhouetted" characters in the grid that aren't activated yet. While December 14 is edging closer to us than the underworld is encroaching Ichigo Kurosaki, we're sure more of these characters are going to be opened up for public viewing in time. Anyways, if you can blunder your way through the Japanese in the site, there's other content from before in the other sections. Being a flash-based website, Google translate isn't much of a help this time. Needless to say, the Bleach fans are still going to enjoy the new media here. Check it out for yourself. The "Read" link below leads to their official website. |

If you love anime, then we're betting that Bleach Wii can get you just as thrilled as the other Sega titles being released for the Nintendo Wii. We currently have more scans of this classic from the Japanese weekly Shonen Jump (courtesy of Jeux-France), which shows how the Wiimote allows one to take control of the game. It appears that players can deliver super-special attacks via their Wiimote. Doesn't this remind us of the spicy role of the Wiimote in Red Steel where it uses the built-in speaker to declare your next task? There are at least 25 playable characters in this game and judging from the Japanese footage we once posted here, there's gonna be a whole lot of crazy sword-swinging once this game finally makes it into our living rooms. Guess some fans can't wait for the title to reach the North American shores, but that remains to be announced. The game will be launched on December 14 in Japan. |
