Change forms in with these Ben 10: Protector of Earth screenshots - Image 1 Change forms in with these Ben 10: Protector of Earth screenshots - Image 2

Here are some new screenshots for upcoming video game Ben 10: Protector of Earth courtesy of gaming site IGN. The title is being developed by High Voltage Software and will be released in North America some time during the fourth quarter of this year. It will be marketed by D3Publisher.

Anyway, the title sounds familiar because it is actually a port of the animated series Ben 10 from Cartoon Network. It follows the story of Ben Tennyson and his involvement with the device Omnitrix that allows him to change into different alien forms. These include the likes of Fourarms, Heatblast, Cannonbolt, XLR8, and Wildvine.

If your character is sporting an alien body, it is only fair that your enemies should be aliens as well. High Voltage still hasn't released any information on this but initial reports say that Ben 10 will be facing off with Vilgax, Kevin 11, Hex, and the Forever Knights.

As always, updates as we get them and in the mean while, just enjoy the screenshots below!

Six new screens for Ben 10: Protector of Earth - Image 1 Six new screens for Ben 10: Protector of Earth - Image 2

If there was a cartoon that would translate into a good videogame if done properly, it would be Ben 10. It's about a boy named Ben Tennyson and his watch-like contraption called the Omnitrix, which allows him to transform into 10 different creatures, each with their own unique abilities and powers.

So here are six new screenshots for the D3Publisher and High Voltage Software's Ben 10: Protector of Earth for the Wii. Fans of the cartoon series would probably enjoy this game, as it has most of the characters from the TV show. However, those looking to have access to the full gamut of powers the Omnitrix offers might be a bit disappointed since Ben can only transform into five out of the 10 forms that are available to him. The list of the five characters include: Fourarms, Heatblast, Cannonbolt, XLR8, and Wildvine.

Ben 10: Protector of Earth will also be available on the Nintendo DS, PSP and PS2 and is slated to be released this fourth quarter here in the U.S. Be sure to keep checking back here for more updates on the game. While waiting for the next tidbit of information, why not take some time to check out the screenshots?

Recently, we reported on the list of E3 third party games for the Wii. Today, we got some eye candy on one of them that we're sure you'd want to check out. It's the video game port of the animated series Ben 10.

It's all about a 10 year old boy named Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen, and their grandfather Max. Ben finds the Omnitrix, a device that allows the user (Ben) to transform into an alien form. Initially, Ben can transform into ten forms, though the number has grown as he learns how to use the Omnitrix properly. In the screenshots for D3Publisher and High Voltage Software's Ben 10: Protector of Earth, we see a number of aliens: Heatblast, Fourarms, Cannonbolt, XLR8, and Wildvine.

According to some reports, Ben will have to face off with villains like Vilgax, Kevin 11, and the Forever Knights. Looks like our hero will have his arms full with them in Ben 10: Protector of Earth. So while we're digging for more info about the title, why don't you check out the screenshots?
