Baroque for the Wii and PlayStation 2 hit the shelves in North America a few days back, and now, we've just caught news that Europe will be receiving some dungeon crawler RPG love as well. After the slew of mostly PC games last week, this time around we're going to have the same boatload of PC releases with a smattering of Nintendo Wii and DS games, and the occasional XBLA shoot-em-up in between. The gaming line-up is diverse, however. Here are some screenshots for the Nintendo Wii and PS2 RPG Baroque sent directly to us by Atlus USA. The game should have come out back in March 18 but the company has decided to postpone it until April 8.

Atlus, the studio behind the popular Trauma Center franchise, will soon be releasing Baroque, their new dungeon crawler for the Wii and PS2. In a recent interview, a bunch of the folks down at the studio were interviewed and they gave us new details on Baroque as well as how the studio feels about releasing games on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Atlus USA recently provided an exciting and in-depth interview about upcoming Nintendo Wii video game Baroque (also on PS2). This is rather important as the title was only released before in Japan on the Sega Saturn platform.

The interview covered the localization process, gameplay mechanics, and most important of all, Baroque's positioning in Nintendo's approach to casual gamers. The full interview after the jump!

Japan is envied for having an exclusive grip on some of the industry's best RPG titles. One of these great games is Baroque, which was originally launched on the platform Sega Saturn.

We just got a few new details for the upcoming PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii version of the  game Baroque. This RPG is really quite intriguing since it used to be a Japan-only Sega Saturn title until Sting Entertainment confirmed that Atlus will be bringing it to North America.
