Whoever said that golf is for old (errr...mature?) men obviously haven't heard of EA's upcoming sports title, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. Well sure, it's not like your ordinary gamer would really go out and play non-virtual golf after getting a glimpse at the game. But it could very well help you understand what the fuss over "lush greens and a ball" is all about and why your dad/grandpa/husband claims to have that swinging sensation (say whaaat?) when playing golf.

Anyway, vague intro aside, we're here to share with you yet another trailer for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 which shows you how to work the Wiimote in swinging those strokes. It might come in handy fellas, as the game is set to hit the shelves real soon (March 15th, to be exact). So while we wait for those three long days to pass, check out this trailer and tell us what you think. Enjoy!

Prince of Persia: Rival Swords - Image 1

Curious as to how the Wiimote will be used in the Wii version (doh) of Ubisoft's Prince of Persia: Rival Swords? Well sure, we've brought you "Wiimote screens" before, and even shown you the vid of the Wiimote at work, so whaddya say we gear up for yet another batch of PoP-Wiimote 101 screens, eh?

Given the heated action you'll be getting yourself into when the Persian prince comes to town, these screens are actually just quick teasers on how you'll be able to pull off high jumps and quick slashes to your enemies' bodies (see images below). It may have been rated T by the ESRB, but don't think that means that you'll be seeing a wimpy-assed Prince in the game. He'll still be as fierce as ever (d'you see that whip-chain right there?) when you get your grubby hands on PoP: Rival Swords next month. Enjoy the screens!

Nintendo Wii - Image 1Great news for all those who've been having a bit of a problem managing their files for their Wiis, Datel's Max Media Manager will now be available also for the Wii!

MAX Media is one of the most popular media management solution for the DS, and has been making rounds on PSPs for years. If you have no idea what MAX Media Manager is for, and what it does, here's a quick list:
  • lets you rip the tracks from your CDs and transfer them directly to your 1GB SD card using your PC
  • converts and transfers video files - control the precise size, aspect ratio, zoom, bitrate and audio settings, and encode your movies so you can watch them on your Wii
  • rip DVDs directly to the card (given that they're copy-protected, of course)
  • download game saves from the internet
  • subscribe to podcasts, manage photos, swap game saves, etc.
No word yet on the pricing and exactly when this baby will be hitting shelves (Datel says "soon"), but rest assured we will keep you posted once news reaches our ears. The MAX Media Manager Pro for Wii bundle contains the software disc along with a 1GB SD card.

 Xevicom Forever Issue #2 - Image 1 Xevicom Forever Issue #1 - Image 1

"Love Can Build a Wall. Hate Can Tear it Down. Justice Stands Forever."

Or so the tag line goes. Intriguing, eh? That's the basic theme that Darren Reid's graphic novel "Xevicom Forever" revolves around. The first two issues launched today for the PSP and PC mark Reid's very first release for your beloved handhelds.

There will also be enhanced online editions for the Wii and PS3 soon, which will also allow DS users in Europe and Japan to view the novel. (Currently, you can view the Wii/PS3 online browser versions at Reid's website, the link to which is in the Read link)

And the fun (?) doesn't end there: the novel's third issue will be released on March 16th, and the fourth and final one to be launched on March 23rd. But if you don't wanna go through the hassle of downloading the issues one by one, you can opt to wait 'til March 30, when you can download the whole novel in one bundle.

With previous works that include The Sword of Oz, Darren Reid still has quite a few novels up his sleeve. So if you like what you see in Xevicom Forever, make sure you keep an eye out for his future releases.

Bodies being split in half, hacked and slashed off heads, bloodshed and gore... ahhh, the good stuff. *licks lips* Oh yes, we have scored yet another sneak peek at Marvelous Interactive's upcoming ultra-violent game, No More Heroes.

After being baptized with a new name, the Grasshopper Manufacture-developed game looks like it's shaping up to be a worthy contender for Red Steel and is even being compared to Manhunt 2 (PSP, Wii) by Suda 51 himself. We have no word yet on when this baby will be spinning on our consoles, but we trust we'll be seeing Travis Touchdown working that Beam Katana on our Wiis pretty soon.

So while we wait for further announcements, why don't you get loaded on the goods that this GDC trailer brings us, yes? We'll keep you posted for more developments.

As the Japanese release of Hudson's Bomberman Land dawns nearer, a lot of us Wii owners in the U.S. are still left pondering as to whether we'll ever get to see the classic title reaching our shores. So far, there's still no word on that yet but it certainly doesn't keep us from keeping our fingers crossed, eh?

And to prevent Bomberman fanatics' spirits from dampening, we're gonna share with you the Japanese trailer of the game we found in GameTrailers which shows how the Wiimote and Nunchuk will be used.
