If you're getting all fired up to play the upcoming line of downloadable titles on Nintendo's WiiWare service, it might be good to know that you might have to pay a little more than you initially bargained for.

Aside from the 500 Wii Points you have to dish out for the games available on WiiWare, other additional costs were found with the said downloadable titles.

In an image taken from the download screen of Square Enix's Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, a disclaimer was noted stating that the game will cost points for "[additional] data or services" upon downloading it. No specific details were revealed about the additional goodies involved, but we're hoping that this is merely some kind of add-on fee for extra content and not a pay-to-play service fee.

There were also reports stating that other WiiWare games made available today when the Japanese version of the service went live had similar messages included before the actual download.
