Nintendo Wii console and Wiimote controller - Image 1If you're the type who enjoys testing the limits of their gaming platforms, then you'll surely get a kick out of the latest version of developer Beardface's Wii homebrew physics engine, WiiPhysics. The latest build (version 2.2.0) adds several new tools and features, which further enhances the capability of this flexible physics playground.

Here are the details to the latest changelog for WiiPhysics 2.2.0:
  • Added Weld Joint
  • Added a second player (with limited capability)
    • (Second player can drag, toss, freeze, unfreeze shapes)
  • Fixed Jumping of pen drawn shapes on create
  • Fixed placement of pin (proper pin joints now)
  • Added realistic grass.
  • Fixed bugs and crashes. (Specficially related to pully)
  • Restructured backend data management system.
  • Fixed pointer detection for selecting rectangles.
  • Added Support Button
  • Increased Object Limits
