Another TCP client GUI has been released for the Nintendo Wii console. This one's called WiiTCPLoadGUI. It's still in beta, but it looks pretty promising. This app lets you connect your PC to the Wii Homebrew/TCPLoader channel and stream binary files. It's an easy way of transferring files to your Wii. The download's below. WiiTCPLoadGUI supports Windows 32bit (64bit support is coming), Linux x86 and x86_64, and MacOSX x86. Download: WiiTCPLoadGUI v0.01 beta Related articles: |

you know what, its great that peeps are coding apps like this, however, it ultimately isnt functional and here is why. if i have to go sit down at my pc and send a file to my wii via tcp, what is stoping me from bringing over my SD card and copying said file direct. ultimately it is faster to physically bring the sd card to my pc and copy said file to sd card via card reader etc etc. but hey, i cant code an app like this, so props to the dev. like i said it really isnt functional but any homebrew app helps further the wii homebrew community and i fully support that. keep it up.

» see heres the reason.
See what would stop you would be alot of different things. you might not have a card reader. you hate taking out ur card reader everytime you want to add one stupid file... the computer is downstairs and your wii is upstairs theres alot of differnet reasons. just becuase its not helpful to you doesnt mean it isnt functional! i myself use ftpii and love it
