MPlayer CE - Image 1

Wii brew devs Scip, Rodries, etc. have created a fork of the Team Twiizers' MPlayer port, adding in elements of the MPlayerWii and GeeXboX to make their own touch. If you just came across this app, MPlayer basically turns your Wii into a media player.

For version 0.61, the changes are the following:
  • New screen size variables actually work now.
  • Better usb device detection
  • Using free Liberation font instead of Arial
  • Subtitle wraparound bug fixed
To install, just copy the "mplayer_ce" folder into the "/apps" directory on your SD card and launch it via the HBC. Do note that you're NOT supposed to rename the folder.
