Team Twiizers, the team who practically gave birth too Wii homebrew, is currently working on the Wii Homebrew Channel, an interface that allows users to run homebrew applications. Watch this video to see how the development is coming along.

According to the description of the video, the apps you see being loaded on the channel are being loaded off an SD Card. The Channel also has "built-in support for loading ELFs/DOLs via USBGecko and TCP/IP (shown at the end, when Linux is loaded)."

It's looking pretty incredible, and the interface looks really sweet. A lot of people have been given credit for its development, so our hats off to them. We'll keep you updated on developments, so check back soon. Here's the video:

So does this mean no more *loading Zelda* for me?

I believe you have to run the zelda hack one more time to load the channel then you don't have to anymore. However that's because the app is trucha signed. Which means that Nintendo could, at any time, kill the app.

So I guess we'll see what happens.

 » Awsome...

Great nice to know their working on it....
Though with the WAD installer out it might be very short lived for the people using LOZ:TP exploit if Nintendo decide to patch it along with the other exploits, as they both allow VC/Wiiware games to be pirated.

I would love to see some homebrew not used to pirate anything. Like a real creative homebrew game created from scratch... come on there is room for homebrew to live on Wii. There are enough modded Wii out there it is not necessary to pirate anything with this...
