Harvest Moon SNES - Image 1Gamers based in both Europe and Australia will be getting one game this week on the Virtual Console of Nintendo Wii in the form of Harvest Moon.

Originally released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, this is the grand-daddy of all the farming simulation titles that you see on consoles today.

Like Harvest Moon: Magical Melody and Harvest Moon: Tree of Peace, the original game has players growing crops and raising livestock. Once your character is more established, you have the option of looking for a wife and starting your own family.

If you plan on picking up Harvest Moon, it is priced like other SNES games at 800 Wii points. Not a bad deal for a game that can easily eat up hours of time.
