SNK's Metal Slug characters and SV-001 tank - Image 1Summer time marks the start of the many fireworks or Hanabi festivals in Japan. To herald the beginning of the season, Nintendo of Europe has recently launched several games on the Virtual Console service in celebration of this festive occasion.

A couple of classic Japanese titles from the older console systems make their way to Europe for the first time as Cho Aniki (Turbografx), Puyo Puyo 2 (Sega Mega Drive), and Break In (Turbografx) all make a comeback on the Nintendo downloadable game service.

In addition, the NeoGeo classic Metal Slug will finally be making its much awaited comeback on the Virtual Console. Fans of the series can now return to the very first title which started it all (complete with the advanced Super Vehicle-001 tank).

For more details, you can log on to the Wii Shop Channel and check each game's corresponding Wii Point price.
