Wii owners in North America and Europe will be getting in on developer Acquire's upcoming ninja stealth action title, Tenchu 4, thanks to Ubisoft. The company has recently announced that From Software has given them the go signal to publish the game in those territories.

Tenchu 4 will mark series creator Acquire's return to the Tenchu franchise. Don't let the numbering fool you, though. While this is the fourth full installment of the series, it's actually the eleventh Tenchu game overall if you count all of the sidestories and updated releases.

Details are still a bit scarce on Tenchu 4's story, but we do know that players will once again take control of Azuma clan ninjas Ayame and Rikimaru. The game will reportedly feature 10 missions and an extra 50 side quests. We'll find out more during the Tokyo Game Show next month as a playable demo of Tenchu 4 will be available there.

Release is currently scheduled for early next year. The Japanese version comes out next month. Check out the first English trailer below.
