The Conduit - Image 1

A lot seem to have been pretty impressed with the first video that came out for High Voltage Software's FPS title, The Conduit, for the Nintendo Wii. If you were one of them, then you'd be glad to hear that we've got an update on the game, and it's concerning the release date.

According to the press release sent out, you may very well expect The Conduit to land in your wholesome, family-friendly Wii on Q1 of 2009. We're definitely keeping our fingers crossed for that, as we can't wait to see not only how the Wii fans will accept this FPS, but also to see the capabilities of the company's Quantum Engine 3, which is being used for the development of the game.

Exciting to see also is how the Wiimote's control scheme will work out in this title, plus of course, the features included in the game such as the online multiplayer, the "conspiracy-laden story-driven single-player campaign", real-time reflection on interactive water graphics and four-stage texture composition.

Yup, this is turning out to be one game that's worth looking out for. Keep it posted here for more updates on the development of The Conduit.
