If you thought that Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl was all about multiplayer mayhem, then you'll be pleasantly surprised how many enjoyable single-player modes the game has to offer. Aside from the Adventure Mode we've previously covered, players will also get to enjoy a lot of single-player action with the return of the Events game mode.
For those of you who remember this fun-filled single-player mode, Events are predetermined battles with certain conditions that make the fights more interesting. How about a two-on-one handicap match with the two trouble kings, Bowser and King Dedede, against everyone's favorite mustachioed plumber? Or maybe a little Spring cleaning in Skyworld as Pit and a Wario "clean up" by destroying the terrain as quickly as possible.
After completing an Event's condition, it then records your high score for that battle. If you want to give yourself a challenge, then go ahead and try beating your previous time or better yet, try beating it on a higher difficulty.
Events delivers a variety of chance meetings between the all-star cast of characters in the game. Either way, it's definitely a cool way to enjoy the game when it finally finds its way on shelves this February 10.
