Racing titles certainly don't get any more exciting than Nintendo's tried and tested Mario Kart series. The latest iteration finds its way onto the Wii console with Mario Kart Wii, which contains all of the well-loved features that fans have enjoyed and then some.

Today's update for the game takes a look at the Battle Mode feature. While some of you may have already seen the previous footage we've covered on this highly competitive head-to-head game mode, this new one takes a look at some of the more interesting arenas where you can battle it out against your fellow racers.

You'll get to see some standard tracks associated with the series, as well as more interesting ones such as Bowser's castle and a sandbowl-like arena with a giant Thwomp in the middle. However, that's enough spoilers for now. We'll leave you to watch everything for yourself on the video we've provided below. Enjoy!
