Splatterhouse 2 - Image 1Fans of the sidescrolling action/survival horror video game Splatterhouse 2 have much to celebrate, as the Australian Classification Board, OFLC,  has now rated the said title for the Virtual Console on the Wii.

According to the Classification Board's site, the game has been given an M classification for its moderate horror violence. Splatterhouse 2 was originally released in 1992 for the Sega Mega Drive and the Sega Genesis.

There's still no word as to when this game will arrive on Aussie's VC, but at least we're certain that it will be coming. In the meantime, do keep it posted here for any more news on this title.
