It came to QJ.NET's attention that homebrew coder DesktopMan has finally ported a Tetris game to the Nintendo Wii. This particular creation is actually the second functioning homebrew created for Nintendo's latest console, with Pong being the first one.

Here's what the coder DesktopMan had to say about the release: "Source will follow once people can actually compile it. The ELF runs with the beta ELF loader or by other means for those who have them."

What we have below is a proof-of-concept video showing that the game is actually running in native Nintendo Wii mode. When using the file hosted for download below, be sure that you know what you are doing to avoid any problems.

 » ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and here we GO!!!!!! even though an iso loader is currently not possible, perhaps a coder can right a program to read and ext hdd from the USB port of the Wii, and we can load isos that way, or inject a code into the wii datastream allowing the playing of wii backups. Big news here. and ELF loader, and a Proof of Concept, the ball's really rolling now! Kudos to the programmer! Long Live the Wii!!!!!!!!!!
