If you find yourself often deleting your downloaded Virtual Console games on your Nintendo Wii to free up some space, then chances are you're not quite happy with the console's limited flash memory. If that's the case, then good news, as Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has confirmed that they are indeed listening to our complaints, and that they're going to do something about it.

This comes directly from a recent Q & A session following the company's press briefing last week. Here is Satoru Iwata's complete statement regarding this matter, taken as is from the English transcript of the session itself:

Statistically speaking, it is true that there are a small number of customers who feel that the flash memory is too small, while many others find that they have plenty of memory. However, because this small number of people are none other than the most avid players, we know we have to review the best possible solution to eliminate their inconvenience.

Well, there you go. Nintendo does care about hardcore players, and not just the casual crowd. They just need a bit more than the usual nudge in the right direction, which is certainly not hard for us. Updates as we get them, and you can check out more info in the via link below.

 » Well well well...

This just screams HDD. I remember MCS saying something about Nintendo never listening to its customers, or never releasing a hard drive (something along those lines). Not like this is a definite yet, but here's hoping.

all they said was: "...we know we have to review the best possible solution to eliminate their inconvenience."

The best solution would be trade up to a real next gen system because you know Nintendo will drag their ass for 1-2 years even if they're working on something.
