Super Smash Bros. Brawl may hit 1 million mark in second week out - Image 1

Super Smash Bros. Brawl has only recently been released in Japan but it's already reached 700,000 in unit sales. And that's only in the four days since its release. This according to early sales data from Mantan Web.

With such strong opening sales figures, it won't be surprising if the game hits a million in its second week out. Even Wii Fit took a month to reach the million-in-sales mark, so that's saying something.

Mantan Web columnist Taketo Matsuo expects Super Smash Bros. Brawl to top the million sales mark by this week. It would be interesting to see how those numbers would do once the game is released in other regions.

Wasn't Nintendo trying to fake a shortage, saying they could only fill 1/4 of the pre-orders? Crafty!
