Screenshot of Wii homebrew SDLMame 0.125 on Wii - Image 1While the initial version of nuvalo's SDLMame 0.125 on Wii had a couple of kinks in the system, the developer is slowly making some headway by correcting them in the latest build.

Those of you not familiar with Mame emulators, it basically allows you to play old-school arcade ROMs, which are freely available for download on the Internet. SDLMame 0.125 on Wii (UPDATED) was finally able to solve the problem which randomly resets small ROMs while running them or loading their savestates.

Unfortunately, the issue of extremely long loading times for the larger ROMs has yet to be addressed. Those of you interested in checking out the updated version of SDLMame 0.125 on Wii can download the file bundle below. Just make sure to read up on the documentation included with the homebrew emulator if you plan on installing it on your console.
