Surfer Girl may have been on to something during her November post from last year. A Swedish gaming magazine hints that Nintendo is working on a Wii version of Sega's first two Shenmue games, originally released to the ill-fated Dreamcast system. Details are available in the full article.

Someone's playing liberator again and "freeing" some of the games offered over the recently launched WiiWare service. We've heard that downloads of WiiWare titles are being seeded over torrent avenues, and this feat has been attributed to a circumvention of security over Nintendo's servers. Back in January, we reported that Shinji Mikami, of Dino Crisis and Resident Evil fame, will start work on the first title of the team Platinum Games (formerly SEEDS). Now how far along are they? We're all curious as to how the rumored Kid Icarus game for the Wii will look like, but more importantly, how Pit will look like. It's lucky that we managed to come images were found in the web, labeled as Factor 5's concept art for the game. By this time, you probably already know that Vivendi and Activision have left the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). That being the case, the companies' names aren't on the ESA's official website. Then again, LucasArts isn't on the site either. Could this mean that it has left the ESA as well?  We've been clamoring for downloadable content for the Wii for some time now, but it's currently available to Wii Ware games only, like Final Fantasy Chronicles: My Life as a King.
