Nintendo's Game Boy Color handheld - Image 1Emulators seem to be all the rage on the Wii homebrew scene lately. Developer nullEX recently introduced a new emulator based on the classic Game Boy Color handheld for the Wii platform entitled "RINWii Remake". The third beta release of the program includes several new features to the libraries which run the emulator.

Perhaps the biggest advantage the latest version of RINWii has over its predecessor is the fact that it now uses the more stable libogc library. In addition, libfat makes data access through the Wiimote more stable than ever before.

Those of you who've tried out the earlier versions of RINWii Remake should be pleasantly surprised with the changes made in the latest iteration. In any case, please make sure to read the included documentation for more information regarding RinWii Remake Beta 3.
