Mmm... Cooking Mama... - Image 1Thanks to Cooking Mama's hot sales and light-hearted gameplay that attracts casual gamers, Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter foresees good numbers in Majesco Entertainment's upcoming financial report for this quarter.

Pachter has faith that the company will post around US$ 10 million in sales this Q3, widely attributed to Cooking Mama. According to his expectations, sales would have dropped by 20%, slightly missing NPD figures that show Majesco experienced a 4% increase since last year.

Pachter is positive about the company's future, saying "Majesco's remaining FY:07 lineup of budget titles, including 6 DS, 1 Wii, and 1 Xbox 360 game, should provide relatively modest revenue at a modest cost."

Improvement in sales and cost management led Pachter to believe that the company will return to profitability soon.

With Majesco enjoying US$ 12–13 million in quarterly revenue, Pachter sees US$ 65 million in annual revenues for the company. With upcoming Cooking Mama 2 and Furu Furu Park, and other promising titles, it doesn't take Nostradamus to guess that some good things awaits.
