This year's E3 was truly one for the books. After the busy week we had last week, we here at QJ.NET decided to do a little digging to look for 25 excellent games under US$ 25 that were released last year in honor of this year's E3. If you just recently acquired your 7th gen console or handheld or if you're just looking for a great game to add in your collection, maybe you can take a look at these games. PS3 Haze - Set in the year 2048 in a world where Governments have outsourced military operations to Private Military Corporations (PMC), you play a newly enlisted soldier seeking fulfillment and thrills by fighting for a good cause. As the leading PMC, Mantel Global Industries offers a high-tech arsenal of vehicles, deadly weaponry, and on top of that a performance enhancing bio-medical support known as Nectar. As a result, Mantel troopers are the most feared by terrorists, dictators, and the corporation's political enemies. Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - In Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, you're a snow pirate - battling for
control of the precious thermal energy needed for humans to survive.
Driven to the brink of extinction on ice-covered wastelands, humankind
fights to survive. From extreme conditions and insurgent Snow Pirates
to hostile gargantuan alien Akrid, all that you can trust are your
instincts.
Assassin's Creed - While other games claim
to be next-gen with impressive graphics and physics, Assassin’s Creed
merges technology, game design, theme, and emotions into a world where
you instigate chaos and become a vulnerable, yet powerful, agent of
change.
Ferrari Challenge - Prepare for a racing experience so immersive and real that it just
might make players better or at least much faster drivers in real life.
Ferrari F355 Challenge is built around recreating and delivering the
definitive Ferrari driving experience in the world's most prestigious
race.
Burnout Paradise - Make action your middle name, as you control what happens when and
where in Burnout Paradise. Welcome to Paradise City. Immerse yourself
in the open roads of Paradise City from the downtown streets through
the hectic freeways to the sweeping mountain roads; the world is
waiting to be explored. Slam, Shunt and Wreck opponents in cross-town
race events, where you decide the fastest route to the finish line.
Xbox 360 Bully: Scholarship Edition - The Rockstar tradition of groundbreaking, original gameplay and
humorous tongue-in-cheek storytelling invades an entirely new setting:
the schoolyard. As a mischievous schoolboy, you'll stand up to bullies, get picked on
by teachers, play pranks, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to
navigate the obstacles of the worst school around, Bullworth Academy -
a corrupt and crumbling prep school with an uptight facade.
Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise - Return to magical Piñata Island. Unfortunately, not all is well on the
island, as Professor Pester and his gang of Ruffians have wiped out
Piñata Central's computer records, posing a threat to parties
everywhere. Rebuild the computer database and thwart Professor Pester's
evil plot by sending piñatas at full candiosity to parties all around
the world. Build and maintain your piñata gardens—using your creativity
and imagination to attract, trap, protect, train, and manage more than
100 different piñata species. Too Human - As the cybernetic god Baldur, you are thrust into the midst of an
ongoing battle that threatens the existence of mankind. An ancient
machine presence has forced the god's hand. In Too Human, players experience a nonstop barrage of action
powered by the integration of melee and ranged firearms combat and
fueled by breathtaking visuals enabled by the Xbox 360. Battles unfold
in awesome scale as players engage with vast numbers of enemies.
Battlefield: Bad Company - Set in the near future, the Battlefield: Bad Company single-player
campaign drops gamers behind enemy lines as part of a squad of four
soldiers, risking it all to go AWOL on a personal quest. Battlefield: Bad Company is the first game built from the ground up for
next-generation consoles using DICE's bleeding-edge Frostbite game
engine, delivering unrivaled graphics, effects and gameplay.
Unreal Tournament III - Unreal Tournament 3 marks the return of the premiere tournament-style
first-person shooter. Players engage in intense and hyper-real battles
with other human players online or against incredibly realistic Unreal
artificial intelligence. Unreal Tournament 3 unleashes the full power
of Unreal Engine 3 taking graphics, gameplay, and challenge to a whole
new level.
Wii No More Heroes - You are Travis Touchdown, a normal guy (with an otaku geek streak) who
wins a Beam Katana through an online auction and uses the weapon to
start a new career as a professional killer. No More Heroes takes place in the city of Santa Destroy, and you are
free to explore the town to your liking, taking on missions large and
small to collect money and purchase new weapons as you work up towards
the 10 main killing contracts. Gameplay is all about using your Beam
Katana (via Wii remote) to defeat enemies.
Ghost Squad - SEGA's top grossing light gun game, Ghost Squad, comes to the Wii
system and replicates the excitement of the arcade experience in your
home! The Ghost Squad is a Special Forces unit established in strict
secrecy by the U.N. to combat terrorism and carry out special

exclusive additional content, including a Multiplayer mode for 1- 4
players and much more.

Resort, where fresh powder, groomed runs, multiple trails, and state of
the art facilities await! We Ski takes you down the slopes in the most
exciting skiing game to hit the Wii Console! With an in-depth Ski School and over a dozen lengthy runs packed with
jumps, races, and more, you and your friends won't want to leave the

features virtual heavyweights fighting in the backstreet of gym to a
Las Vegas showdown with vivid new visuals bringing the five spectacular
ring environments to life. With all-new roster: 20 new crazy boxers.
Monster Lab - Monster Lab is set in an eerie, supernatural world where the evil Baron
Mharti rules the region with a cruel hand. The player takes on the role
of an apprentice scientist who must perform a vast array of intricate
experiments to create your very own monster from over 150 monster
parts.
PSP God of War Chains of Olympus - In God of War, Kratos, after being deceived into killing his wife and
daughter, denounced his service to Ares. In order to seek absolution
from his past sins, the Ghost of Sparta pledged himself as a champion
to the Gods for the years to follow. These brutal crusades, in the name
of Olympus, became legendary throughout the ancient world. Critically-Acclaimed Franchise - Brought to you by Sony Computer
Entertainment America and two award-winning development teams - Santa
Monica Studios and Ready At Dawn Studios.

Nice thought to make this list but games like Haze cost only $13.99 for a reason, and I wouldn't even pay that for it :P

I knew I'd see this comment in here
List could've been a little better, but still good idea. I'd like to add a few
Condemned for Xbox 360 is $16.49
Prey for X360 is $19.30
Warhawk for PS3 is $19.49
Resistance Fall of Man for PS3 is $19.99
Viva Pinata original for 360 is $16.99
Brothers in Arms is $14.97 for 360 and $21.82 for PS3
Can't go wrong with any of those purchases

» Why put Unreal Tournament 3 on the 360 list and not the PS3?
The PS3 version has 11 more maps, two new game modes, you can turn Titan, and download mods straight from UT3mod.com.
It's by far the superior version.

Other than that. The only system that had a list of all five games being good were the PSP. Infact. All five of the PSP games listed are AAA titles and any of them were better than any others on the list, though some people would beg to differ with Unreal Tournament 3 being on the list(I know alot of people who think of it as their favored FPS.)

» UT3 is the superior version for consoles
Decided to post another because I already know if I don't someone will message about the PC version which is obviously superior due to the ability to make the fan mods.

The PS3 section is horrible!
Haze is horrible
Lost Planet it a lazy port riddled with bugs and subpar graphical presentation.
Ferrari challenge is a poor mans gt5 prologue.
AC and BP are superb games... but that's 2 of 5!! Damn you QJ for phoning this one in.

i paid 10$ for a copy of mercenaries 2 my best purchase this year lol
the only reason i fault this game is because it was released as a 60$ title and that's just ridiculous but otherwise really fun game ( any game that you can nuke anything you want is a good game)
