Sure, the DS sells well because it's directed to a younger audience and it's cheaper than other consoles out there. You get what you pay. Because it sells well it doesn't mean that it's better. There are millions of bratty kids out there wanting their parents to get them DS's for christmas because of it's wide selection of games directed for kids.

That's right, keep telling yourself that. Truth is all sales statistics have shown that the DS has a higher ratio of older players than the PSP. So is the PSP a machine for kids? Of course not. So stop being so bitter that the DS is outselling the PSP, the PSP is still selling well and won't be going anywhere any time soon.

I got a 360 myself, and as mentioned earlier in these comments on PSP vs DS, you get what you pay for.
If you compare prices just straight ahead, of course the 360 core pack is WAY cheaper than PS3, but do you get the same content out of the package? No.
In order for the 360 to be the same content as a PS3, you'll have to buy:
1: HD-DVD driver. (Compared to PS3's Blue-Ray)
2: 20gb HDD
3: Wireless Controller (Core pack got a wired controller)
4:YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY ONLINE
As I said, I got a 360 myself, I like it. But still that doesn't mean that I can also like PS3. Fanboys + Go straight to hell.

Ok then, give me a $200 cheaper PS3, without the blue ray. No? The thing is, I don't buy my consoles so I can watch HD movies. I play games with them. So, Microsoft gave me a choice, which made the unit cheaper. It's as simple as that.

The DS is beating the PSP in sales because of the audiance the DS has which is children. That doesn't mean the games are worse, it just means PSP is more of an adult handheld, which it should be. You can keep your upgraded SNES graphics, no PSP owned would mind.

What are you saying we should just cast aside those features? Sorry, but those just help amp up the PSP, you can't toss them aside. So besides for the games, you speak of price. I would MUCH rather pay an extra 100 dollars for all of the benefits I'm going to get. Not everyone loves Mario as much as Nintendo. ..Maybe except Super Mario Bros 3. But then again just get an emulator for the PSP and you're set. : ) Where's the N64 emulator, and PSX emulator for the DS? I think the PSP's homebrew apps are coming along a lot better adding even more further features on the PSP that nobody even thought possible. I think most of us want a gaming machine not a Blue-Ray player that also happens to play games. If you just want to play games the the 360 is cheaper by $200 and if you want to play in High Definition that means with the ps3 you have to spend another $50 for High Definition cables making the Xbox 360 $250 cheaper. Now if you would like to play High Definition movies then you have to buy a HD-DVD player for the 360 at $200 but that still leaves the Xbox 360 cheaper by $50 bucks with its only drawback being a smaller hard drive.

And on top of all that 360 comes with a headset which save you $30 more, it has better graphics and frame rates in most games so far, and it has as of right now a better selection of games. Not to mention the fact that HD-DVD movies are better looking than Blue-Ray and that if you buy the cheaper PS3 you CAN NEVER UPGRADE TO THE PREMIUM MODEL unlike the Xbox 360where you just buy the things the Core didn't come with. Also even though you have to pay for it the 360's online is much better than Sony's service at least for the moment and at a measly $4 per month it is well worth it.
In conclusion as of now the Xbox 360 is a much better deal no matter how you slice it because a few extra features does not change out the fact that Xbox 360 is a powerful system with a great selection of wonderful games that gives you options for a reasonable price. All that said I still believe games matter most so if the games you want are on the ps3 then by all means get one, I know I would get one if it had the titles that I wanted. The titles I want though are all on the Xbox and heres my list.
