Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters - Image 1It looks like there won't be any PKE loving in the Wii version of Red Fly Studios' Ghostbusters after all. An article posted on videogaming247 previously reported that the there would be cross platform compatibility between the two Nintendo platforms where players can use their DS as a substitute for the in-game PKE meter.

An email from Terminal Reality boss Mark Randel explained that this feature won't make it in the final version of the game despite previous reports to the contrary. As an almost apologetic postscript, he added: "It would have been really cool though".

Still, this shouldn't be any reason for fans of the series to be let down by this little disappointment. Whatever happens, Ghostbusters (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, and PC) will still get its worldwide release this October, so make sure to tune in to us again for more updates regarding this ghost busting title.
