Box art for Metroid Prime 3 Corruption - Image 1It's not unheard of for English versions of Japanese games to experience delays in coming over to the Western part of the world. Sometimes, however, the reverse happens, as was the case with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, until Nintendo officially set the Japan release date for March 6, 2008.

Nintendo originally released Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Wii players in the United States, Europe and Australia in the months of August, October and November of last year, respectively. Japanese Wii owners have had to wait - and will still have to wait - a "Wii" bit longer to experience some Metroid Prime action for themselves.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption serves as the third and final main installment in Nintendo's Metroid Prime series, which has garnered a strong following in PAL territories with each game's release.
