Wii Opera SDK open to public - Image 1GoNintendo's got a new report up regarding Nintendo's Wii Opera Software Development Kit. It seems the company is opening up Opera software development to everyone.

In their announcement, Nintendo noted that the SDK would allow "anyone with knowledge in HTML and JavaScript to take on the task of creating homebrew games and software for the Wii’s Internet Channel."

Furthermore, they note that everything in the SDK (save for the Wii remote interaction bits) can actually be used in any modern browser that supports the canvas tag, allowing the games and software developed by the people using the Wii Opera SDK to be used by people who don't use Opera.

If you'd like an example of the Wii Opera SDK in action, you can actually check out Hullbreach Online, a browser-based MMO made from the SDK, at hullbreachonline.com. For more information, feel free to visit check out the source link below.
