The cast of Super Smash Bros Brawl preparing for battle - Image 1Since Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl (SSBB) is all about competitive play, what better context for competitive play to thrive in than a regional tournament? Fortunately, Nintendo of Europe seems to be considering that possibility for European fans of the game.

Apparently, the inspiration came from Nintendo's US arm and Best Buy - after all, the two have planned to host Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournaments for American players in lieu of the game's launch.

While Nintendo Europe has yet to announce the release date of SSBB for the region, it wouldn't hurt at all for the company to follow the example set by its US counterpart, as European players are also looking forward to enjoying this best-selling game.

 » Great game

I could play this game on single player for hours... Now with the fact that thi sgame is going online...That is perfection... I look forward to spenidng hours online with this game. I'm sure like other Wii owners, I have been starved for so long without juicy online game, so it's good to see this game coming out March 9. If only I had a time machine...
