Nintendo takes action against Mario Kart Wii cheaters - Image 1

Recently, gamers have reported bugs with Mario Kart Wii's Time Trial mode. It seems that a few of those players have managed to take advantage of the situation and were able to cheat in the game, setting records that even Sonic would have a hard time beating.

According to reports from the online community, it didn't take long before Nintendo took action to fix this. Not only have they blocked methods for exploiting the bug to cheat, but they also deleted the records of cheaters. We've yet to see if any persistent gamers would manage to find other bugs to exploit though.

Moral lesson: don't get caught cheat. Cheating is bad, mmkay?

 » well

It would be better if they tested the game well enough to eliminate bugs in the first place.
For a last gen mostly recycled game, it shouldn't have any major bugs.

It is very obvious that if I connect now they can see that it is not normal since I am in North America now... just like SMG, SMBB I'll buy this game for sure. Just curious to take a peek of the game first =P
